How To Get Daedric Gear

Method 1:  This is one of the more simpler ways to get Daedric gear, but it does require the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim.  If you do not have the add-on, skip this method.  If you do own the add-on, I’ll tell you what you need to do.

1) Travel to Solstheim and find the nordic ruins of Benkongerike.

2) In the room where you battle the boss, you will find the ‘Black Book: Untold Legends’.

3) Read the book, and be teleported to Apocrypha.

4) Battle your way to the book’s knowledge, and there you will have the choice of three powers.

5) Choose the power ‘Black Market’, and select it in your inventory.

6) Activate the power, and a dremora merchant will be summoned for you to trade with.

Depending on what level you are, he will sell either Ebony weapons and armor, or Daedric.  Usually somewhere around level is when he’ll sell Daedric items.  Although this method is quite pricy, you’ll get full Daedric gear extremely fast, and it’s also a handy thing to use if you need to sell quick.

Method 2:  You are able to do this method using vanilla Skyrim.  Follow the steps below, and you’ll have Daedric gear in no time!

1) First check that your Conjuration skill is 90 or above.  If it is not 90, an easy way to get it up is to constantly use soul trap on a dead enemy.  Using that method will take about hours.

2) After it is 90+, travel to the College of Winterhold.

3) Search for a man by the name of Phinis Gestor, a conjuration master studying at the college.  He can be found in the ‘Hall of Countenance’ or ‘The Arcanaeum’

4) Talk to him and ask him this: &#;What else is there to be learned about Conjuration magic?&#;  This will activate a quest, and will reward you with a master level Conjuration spell and a unique item used for this method; the Sigil Stone.

5) Complete the quest, and then make your way to the ‘The Midden’ located as a trap door in the college courtyard.

6) Find the ‘Atronach Forge’ and place the Sigil Stone in the holder (watch the video for the direct path to the Forge).

7) To make Daedric weapons and armor, place the following ingredients into the offering box:

  • Ebony version of your desired weapon/armor piece.
  • One black soul gem. (Filled or unfilled).
  • One Daedra heart.
  • A Centurion Dynamo Core.

If you would like to see all of the recipes for this epic forge, click the following link: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Atronach_Forge_Recipe

Method 3: This one takes a long time, and is very tedious; but it will work.  Simply buy all of the iron ingots and leather strips you can get and just keep crafting iron daggers until your Smithing is level  Invest your perk points into the right side of the tree, and you’ll get to Daedric smithing.  This can take anywhere from one hour to one week.  Just work as hard as you can, and you’ll get there eventually!

I hope you enjoyed this small tutorial!  If you have any other easy and fast ways to get full Daedric gear, let me know in the comments!  That’s all for now guys, and like always; thanks for reading.

Skyrim: 10 Great Pieces Of Gear You Can Obtain At Level 1

When it comes to adventuring in the frozen wilds of Skyrim, it pays to make sure that the Last Dragonborn is equipped with the best gear money can buy, especially since late-game dragons and vampires are easily able to kill an unsuspecting player if they are unprepared. While most enemies in Skyrim scale to the player's level, there are a few enemies whose levels are locked and can make combat difficult for low-level characters.

Related: Skyrim: 10 Unanswered Questions We Still Have About The Dark Brotherhood

Luckily, there are many pieces of armor and weapons that can be found in Skyrim that aren't locked behind a particular level, as some of the best armor in the game, such as Daedric and Ebony, doesn't start appearing until much later levels. While it's probably a good idea to strive for better gear eventually, there is some decent gear that you can find immediately after leaving Helgen.

10 Bound Weapons

While they aren't weapons in the traditional sense, the Bound Sword, Bound Battleaxe, and Bound Bow are all quite powerful even before you take the Mystic Binding perk to increase their damage output. While the Bound Sword and Bound Battleaxe can be bought from most mage vendors, the Bound Bow is a little harder to get, though can be found fairly easily. In Fort Amol Prison, which is inside Fort Amol can be found just off the road southwest of Windhelm, there is a bucket in the lefthand corner after entering the room. Hiding under a lamp inside this bucket is the spell tome for Bound Bow, though the cost may be too high unless players chose a High Elf character or have gear that increases magicka.

9 Orcish Armor

If players are wanting to make a Heavy Armor focused warrior, they can do much better than the Iron Armor that can be found on several low-level bandits. In Largashbur, the orc stronghold southwest of Riften, there is a near full set of Orcish Armor, including a Shield and Battleaxe, that can lying out in the open. This stronghold normally doesn't open until the player is level 9 or higher, but you can simply climb up the hill to the lefthand side of the stronghold and drop down behind the wall. The armor and weapons will count as stolen and the orcs will send Thugs after you, but with near full Orcish Armor, they won't be much of a problem.

8 Elven Bow

The Companions may be more known for the melee abilities, but they aren't against using a bow when the occasion calls for it. Inside Jorrvaskr, in the room where you give Aela her shield during initiation, there is an Elven Bow in a locked display case right behind where she stands that players can steal.

Related: Skyrim: 10 Crazy Things You Didn't Know About The Daedric Prince Molag Bal

While the lock itself is quite high at Expert level, the display case doesn't function properly and you can, at the right angle of approach, grab the bow without opening the case at all. It takes some time to find the right angle, but the best approach is to couch and aim into the opening along the righthand side.

7 Diadem of the Savant

The Diadem of the Savant is supposed to be a reward for players who complete Shalidor's Maze, as it is normally found on the body of a dead Dremora Mage during the Conjuration trial. However, players can also find one sitting on a log outside of Froki's Shack, southeast of the Throat of the World, and near a Shout wall against the mountainside. Unlike other crowns, the Diadem of the Savant counts as Light Armor and has a base rating of 7, but it also doesn't interfere with the Alteration perk Mage Armor, meaning it is a good option for players wanting to use Flesh spells instead of wearing armor.

6 The Longhammer

Although The Longhammer is a fairly well-known weapon in Skyrim, not many players know that it isn't locked behind a quest or a certain level for the player. This unique Orcish Warhammer can be found inside Liar's Retreat, a cave system that is home to a small war between the Forsworn and the Falmer who are invading it. The Falmer are quite hard to kill at lower levels, but players can rush through the cave to the end where The Longhammer is placed without too much trouble. You can also hire a bodyguard to help take some of the load off when battling them, though they can still kill you in a couple of hits at low levels.

5 The Mace of Molag Bal

One of the more powerful Daedric Artifacts, as well as one that doesn't have a level requirement, the Mace of Molag Bal can be obtained as soon as players can get into Markarth and through the quest "The House of Horrors". There are several powerful enemies that need to be killed in this questline, but with some hired help and a little luck, the player can easily complete the quest and be given a mace with the same base damage as a Daedric Mace at level 1.

4 Ancient Shrouded Armor

Normally, the Ancient Shrouded Armor is a reward item given to the player if they meet certain criteria during the Dark Brotherhood questline. However, players can obtain the armor without ever joining the Dark Brotherhood and gain access to one of the best Light Armor sets in the game for an assassin or thief.

Related: Skyrim: 10 Best Perks, Ranked

By heading through Deepwood Redoubt, found west of Solitude, you can access Hag's End and the room where the hidden door to the Assassin of Old is left lying, though the mechanism to open the door won't be there. By taking the Ritual Stone and activating its effect while standing right up against the door, you can revive the Assassin of Old, then head outside of Hag's End to make him spawn next to you, where his armor can be taken once the effect wears off.

3 Wabbajack

Like the Mace of Molag Bal, the Wabbajack is a decent Daedric Artifact that doesn't have a level requirement, though the Wabbajack's questline also doesn't have much in the way of combat and is easier to obtain without dying. Simply fast travel to Solitude once you reach Whiterun's horse and carriage and you can have a decently powerful staff that can help immensely if you are going after the likes of the Mace of Molag Bal or the Ancient Shrouded Armor.

2 Skyforge Steel Weapons

Skyforge Steel weapons can be bought from Eorlund Gray-Mane after joining The Companions, but he will also gift the player any one weapon they choose after the quest "Proving Honor" has been completed. Skyforge Steel weapons have the same base damage rating a Elven weapons, so they are a decent choice until higher damage weapons begin to spawn.

1 Staff of Jyrik Gauldurson

Another magic staff that can be obtained at level 1, the Staff of Jyrik Gauldurson can be found in the same room as the Eye of Magnus during the College of Winterhold quest "Under Saarthal" and helps a lot in the battle against Jyrik Gauldurson. This quest also begins the "Forbidden Legend" side quest where players can obtain the Gauldur Amulet, a powerful unique necklace that increases magicka, stamina, and health when worn.

Skyrim Special Edition: How To Get Daedric Gear At Level One

Daedric Equipment has always held a legendary status in The Elder Scrolls games, often serving as the strongest type of gear in-game. In Skyrim Special Edition, players can acquire the set through a variety of means, the easiest being to craft it themselves. However, doing so requires players to have high levels in Smithing, and getting there can take a lot of time and effort.

RELATED: Skyrim: The Best Heavy Armor Sets, Ranked

But through some exploits in the game, players can get the Daedric Set right after leaving Helgen. Players are recommended to save frequently after regular intervals throughout the process, as the method poses some risk and players can get caught and be sent off to jail in-game.

Updated September 11th, by Talha Bin Rizwan: Daedric Gear is counted among the strongest in Skyrim. As such, it is usually reserved for players who are in the mid to late game stages and have gained some levels in Smithing and other skills. Acquiring Deadric Gear at lower levels can make the players' journey significantly easier as they come across challenging enemies such as Dragons or Giants. With that in mind, this guide has been updated to include some addtitional details on how to get this armor early. Players will need some items, careful timing, and a little bit of luck.

11 Loot Everything In Helgen

Players will need a bit of gold during the process to pay the carriage driver and to potentially buy some ingredients. As players start off with no gold, they will need to loot everyone and everything they can during their escape from Helgen. Some of the weapons and armor will also help in protecting players on their journey as they move from city to city.

Sell off the items to Alvor in Riverwood and acquire gold, which will be used to get some of the items needed and buy passage to different areas. Players will be able to acquire close to a thousand gold by selling off loot by from Helgen.

10 Take Some Wooden Plates From The Inn

In Riverwood, players will need to take a few wooden plates and keep them in their inventory. Only one is actually required for the process, but having a few backups is useful in case anything goes wrong. Players must make sure they aren't seen while taking the plates, as the inn owner may react negatively to theft. Moreover, they can be arrested by the guards and have to pay off their bounty.

RELATED: Skyrim: The Best Thief Perks

The plates will allow players to clip through a pillar to acquire the Sigil Stone, a required component to operate the Atronach Forge. Once players have a few plates, they must make their way to Whiterun and go to the Apothecary.

9 Acquire Void Salts

In Whiterun, go to Arcadia's Cauldron and buy some Void Salts. There is a 21% chance an apothecary will have some Void Salts up for purchase. Players must buy as many Void Salts as they can. If the vendor does not have them in stock, players can load an earlier save, which may randomize the items. Players need four void salts for each part of the armor set.

Alternatively, the Dragonborn can journey from hold to hold and check different apothecary merchants for salts. Some court wizards are also known to have them in stock. Other ways exist to acquire this ingredient, but they pose considerable risk, as they're often hidden in dungeons full of hostile, powerful mages.

8 Acquire Daedra Heart

Daedra Hearts are one of the rarest items in-game, almost as rare as Daedric Equipment itself. They are dropped by Dremora upon death and some wizard merchants are known to carry them, which are accessed mid to late game. Players can also buy then from alchemy merchants, though they cost a pretty penny.

However, the easiest way to get a Daedra Heart is at Jorrvaskr, in Kodlak's quarters. As players enter the room, they will find one Daedra Heart on top of a plate on their left on the far side of the room. Players must be careful not to get caught while picking it up, as it can have negative consequences. Players need four Daedric Hearts for each part of the armor set, and one for each weapon they need.

7 Acquire Ebony Ingots

Ebony is the principal material in forging Daedric Equipment, either conventionally at a regular forge or spawning it at the Atronach Forge. Players can buy ebony ingots from blacksmiths at higher levels in the game, or can smelt some ingots using ebony ore. Players can mine the ore in multiple locations, but these locations are better suited for higher leveled players.

In the town of Shor's Stone, north of Riften, players can find three chunks of Ebony Ore near the smelter outside the mine. Players can take the ores if they clear the mine of spiders. However, if players do not want to engage in combat, they can steal the ore after making sure no one is watching, and smelt them into ingots.

6 Acquire Filled Greater Soul Gems

The easiest way for players to get soul gems is through the various court wizards in the hold capitals. Players need a Soul Gem that has been filled with a Greater Soul or higher. The closest court wizard to Helgen can be found at Dragonsreach in Whiterun, by the name of Farengar Secret-Fire.

RELATED: Skyrim: Things That Make No Sense About Whiterun

Players should get as many as they can, but even if they manage to get only one, that can work. Through an item duplication glitch, players can create many copies of the item. Alternatively, wait until Farengar replenishes his stock, or try the other court wizards in other holds.

How To Fill Greater Soul Gems

Players can fill Greater Soul Gems themselves by killing enemies that yield a Greater Soul. To do so, they must defeat such an enemy under the Soul Trap spell. Players can buy the Soul Trap spellbook ffrom any of the court wizards in the game.

Draugr Deathlords, Giants, and Wispmothers are some of the enemies that yield a Greater Soul. However, these are powerful enemies which can deplete players' health bars in one or two hits. Players must either wait till they get stronger to defeat them, or use a follower to tank hits.

5 Acquire Silver Swords

Silver swords are a required component to get Daedric weapons. Players need one silver sword to generate one Daedric weapon. These swords are carried by the members of the Silver Hand group, typically encountered during the Companions questline.

Players can also find Silver Hand members at their strongholds. The closest one to players just starting out will be at Gallows Rock, which can be found northwest of Windhelm. They will find a few members outside of the location who they can kite using a bow and arrow. Once they are taken care of, players must loot as many silver swords as they can.

4 Exploiting The Item Duplication Glitch

At level one, players may only acquire the required items in very limited quantities. In order to get more, they can exploit an item duplication glitch. To ensure it works properly, they must make sure that the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch is disabled in their load order. Players must then recruit a follower who does not have an issue with stolen items. Uthgerd The Unbroken and Janessa, both in Whiterun, are good candidates.

Go to the gates of Whiterun or any hold capitals. Drop the items from the inventory, and tell the follower to pick them up. Once the follower does so, players must then exit the city through the gates and then re-enter immediately. A duplicate of the item will be placed on the ground where they dropped it. Players can repeat until the required number of items is reached.

3 Acquiring The Sigil Stone

The Sigil Stone is required to summon the Daedric set from Oblivion into Skyrim. To acquire the Stone, players must first gain entry into the College of Winterhold by passing Faralda's test. A simple spell cast on the ground will satisfy her, and she will allow players to pass. Once inside the college, players must go straight to the Hall of Attainment and go to the second pillar on their left.

Take out a Wooden Plate, hold it up just below eye level using the interact key, and sprint into the pillar. They will be able to see a chest underneath the pillar, which contains the Sigil Stone. It may take a few tries, but players will be able to clip through the pillar and get to the chest. Once there, simply take the Stone and be transported onto the regular ground.

Alternative Way To Get The Sigil Stone

Another way to get the Sigil Stone is by playing through Phinis Gestor's quest at the College of Winterhold. Players need to have a Conjuration level of at least 90 to trigger the quest. He will teach players a spell to summon an unbound Dremora, which players need to defeat three times to bind him to their service.

When players summon him for the fourth time, the Dremora will give the players a Sigil Stone. The battle can be challenging for low-level players and it is advisable to use a follower to tank all hits while players attack the Dremora at range. Dremora are weak to shock-based attacks which players can use to their advantage. Considering the Conjuration level requirement, however, it is almost impossible to do this quest at level 1.

2 Gaining Access To The Atronach Forge

Players will be using the Atronach Forge to acquire Daedric Equipment. To find the Atronach Forge, players must go down into The Midden, a kind of dungeon underneath the College of Winterhold. Players can find multiple trapdoors at the College that lead down into the area.

RELATED: Skyrim: Unanswered Questions About The College Of Winterhold

When players enter the College courtyard, they will find a trapdoor to the left of the Hall of Attainment that leads to The Midden. As players move through The Midden, they will find the Atronach Forge, which looks like a wide altar with space for the Sigil Stone. Players must place the stone here, and the Forge is ready to use.

1 Summoning Daedric Equipment

Once players place the Sigil Stone, they must then add the required components. Players need to add one Daedra Heart, one Ebony Ingot, one filled Greater Soul Gem, and one Void Salt for an enchanted piece of the Daedric Armor set.

For weapons, players must substitute the Void Salts with Silver Sword; one Silver Sword for one Daedric Weapon. The method can be repeated until players acquire the whole Daedric set. Players must save after acquiring each separate piece of the set and their preferred weapons.

How to Get Daedric Armor and Weapons Without Smithing in Skyrim

Slay Revered or Legendary Dragons. If you have the Dawnguard expansion installed, you can begin encountering Revered Dragons at level 59 and Legendary Dragons at level They will be really, really hard to kill if you are not properly equipped and prepared to deal with them. This means preparing potions to restore health, restore magicka, restore stamina, resist fire, resist frost and resist magic. Wearing enchanted equipment that boosts resistances against fire, frost and magic will also help you better survive their hard-hitting blows. Also, shouts like Dragonrend and Become Ethereal are particularly useful against these types of dragons as they’ll help you better survive their nasty breath attacks and Drain Vitality shouts. The fact that you can loot Daedric equipment from their bodies, however, makes killing them a particularly nice reward for the effort required.[5][6]
