With many of us spending more time at home during the COVID pandemic, you might have taken photos of your pets.

Is your iguana particularly handsome? Your dog do something really cute that you caught on your phone camera? Your cat being especially naughty and you have the evidence?

Those cute photos of your pets could win you $

The Gallery Collection is holding a pet photo contest and it is free to enter.

The deadline to enter is Oct. The winner will be announced Oct.

“This has been a difficult year for many with the pandemic and other adversities; in light of this, The Gallery Collection is proud to be able to provide an enjoyable diversion through the launch of another contest giveaway and award a cash prize to the lucky winner,” the company said in a news release.

The Gallery Collection publishes business greeting cards along with presentation folders, certificates, holders and business cards.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Greater Cleveland pet owners are certainly creative when it comes to getting their animal companions in the spirit of Halloween.

We’ve seen all kinds of costumes -- from mythical creatures to pumpkins and hot dogs -- all adorable and all ready to cast a spell on your heart.

Through Sunday we’ll publish photos of every pet entered in cleveland.com’s Best Pet Halloween Costume contest. Photos will run in alphabetical order based on the pet’s name. Below are the pets named Mocha through Pumpkin.

This is Mocha, a smooth-haired guinea pig who loves lettuce and fresh fruit and responds to the different ringtones on owner’s Christine Winters' phone. The pair live in Shaker Heights.

MONTY

This is 5-year-old Monty, a St. Bernard who loves brussels sprouts and the Browns. He lives in Cleveland Heights with owners David and Amy Hertz. David says the hat Monty is wearing is his, and it is too big for David’s head.

MR. HUCKLEBERRY

Meet Mr. Huckleberry, a 2-year-old Hound who loves people and all other dogs. He lives in Cleveland with owners Steven Schneider and Jenna Scholk.

NELLIE

Meet Nellie, a 1-year-old Australian Labradoodle who loves stealing toilet paper rolls and socks and cuddling on the couch. She lives with her owners, William, TJ and George Lane, in Rocky River.

Meet Nolan, a year-old mixed rescue who was born with a hole in his heart, However, owner Julie Bowditch of Cleveland says “he has the biggest heart of all.”

This is Oliver, a 4-year-old Lab mix rescue who lives with owner David Shafron in South Euclid. He goes to work with Shafron in the Hildebrandt Building in Cleveland, where they used to make hot dogs, hence his costume choice.

Meet Oliver, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who lives with his owner, Kelly Zacharias, in Parma. Oliver is dressed as the Cowardly Lion and hopes he will be able to travel to Oz once COVID travel restrictions are lifted.

This is Opie, a 6-year-old Pomeranian who lives in Mayfield Heights with “grandmother” Deborah Conti.

Meet Oreo, a 4-year-old Labradoodle who lives with the Janke family in Painesville.

Meet Oscar, a Bullmastiff who was 1 when this photo was taken. Owner Pete Bogdan says he is always ready to give a quick response when there’s a Dawg Check during Browns games. They live in North Royalton.

5-year-old Otis weighs in at 20 pounds and is always ready for tacos and margaritas, according to owner Kris Parker of Medina. “We swear he does things to make us laugh every day,” she said.

PACO

Meet Paco, a 5-year-old Chihuahua who weighs in at just six pounds. He is not very happy wearing his Halloween Hoodie. He lives with Amy Martin in Lakewood.

Meet Patty Rose, a year-old Corgi who is the princess of her home. Her owner is Patrick Connelly of Wadsworth.

This is Peanut, an 8-year-old female English Bulldog. According to owner Brad Pyner, she is “one of the friendliest and sweetest dogs that you will ever meet!” She loves playing with any type of ball. Peanut and Pyner live in Pepper Pike.

Meet fashionista Penelope, a Pomeranian who has a large wardrobe, all designed by her owner, Jennifer Brhel. They live in Willowick.

Meet Pippo, a 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles mix who “loves to deliver smiles.” Pippo lives in Highland Heights with his owner, Anthony Corrao.

PUMPKIN

Meet Pumpkin, a 6-year-old Yorkie Terrier mix who loves stealing socks and running around the house with them. She lives in Parma with her owner, Laila Almassri.

What happens next?

This vote won’t determine the future of our country, but it will be more fun!

  • A team of cleveland.com reporters will meet this week to select 20 of these adorable animals to move on as finalists, and then it will be up to you -- our readers -- to vote in an online poll to determine the winner of the Best Pet Halloween Costume photo contest.
  • We’ll announce the 20 finalists on Monday, Oct.
  • Voting in the online poll will begin on Monday Oct. You’ll be able to vote up to once each hour for your favorite pet until Thursday, Oct. 29 at noon. Votes must come from the United States.

Molly is 1 year, and 1 month old She is a mix of a American Smooth haired and Coronet guinea pigs. I got Molly at a great pet store that was experienced and knew a lot about each animal.

Molly loves playing with large cardboard tubes, running around in the grass, and sitting in my lap. Molly can do many tricks, like following a carrot in circles, running up and down a toy tower, and pushing your elbow with her nose when she wants to go to her cage.
