About Us The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center provides spiritual, social and emotional assistance for men who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. The program is offered free of charge to participants and focuses on rehabilitating the mind, body, and spirit. The center provides for the physical necessities of the men, as well as their emotional and spiritual needs. While in the program each man participants in a variety of therapies including individual, group, family and work; all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care the program participants receive, prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have completed the program, are reunited with their families and resume a normal life. The center is funded solely by the sale of donated goods. The items we receive are sold in our Family Stores and through our eBay selling program. Photo #1 Setup
The background and tabletop are a single sheet of black velvet. A medium continuous-light lamp with a diffusion sock was on the left as far as away as I could place it in my tiny makeshift studio. A small continuous-light lamp also fitted with a diffusion sock immediately to the left of the camera and slightly above it brightened the headstock and fretboard. It was fitted with a flag to prevent its light from falling on the body. Another small continuous-light lamp on the left (not fitted with a diffusion sock) brightened the width of the body, cast the shadow on the right side of the background and created the interesting light and shadows on the tabletop. It was fitted with a flag to prevent light from falling on the left side of the background.

A small continuous-light lamp was on the right and a medium one was on the left. Both were fitted with a diffusion sock.
Photo #3 Setup
Two continuous-light lamps were fitted with diffusion socks. A small one above and slightly to the right lit the wood and a medium one on the left at the level of the guitar's surface lit the strings. The medium lamp was fitted with a flag that prevented light from striking anything other than the strings. Otherwise, unwanted reflections of the strings would have appeared in the guitar's wood.

The background is black velvet. A small continuous-light lamp was immediately to the left of the camera and slightly above it. White reflectors on both sides of the subject brightened the wood a bit and brightened the shiny metal a lot.

The background is black velvet. A small continuous-light lamp fitted with a diffusion sock was above and slightly to the right of the subject. Two white reflectors were underneath and on the left side of the subject.
